Always nosy, always curious, and always asking questions are traits that drive and feed the writing. I want to know you, what makes you tick, what inspires you, and what it is that compels you to share with the world.
The magic that inspires you translated into words that will move your audience to participate.
You know a lot, you are the expert, whether the subject is you, your company, your product, or your service. With so much information to share, synthesizing the data to simple and compelling marketing messages challenges you to let go of the extraneous. Where to begin, what to include, what to omit, and how to organize drives you to distraction and frustration.
What I do well
- Listen
You have a story to tell. It could be about you if you are an artist, musician, or public personality. It could be about your company, a product, or a service.
Listening means hearing more than what is said, it is noticing nuances, subtleties, emotions, excitement, and how what is said relates to the real world, real situations, and real people.
- Brainstorm
With all that information you have about yourself, your company, your product, or your service, you may feel stuck determining what to say and how to say it.
My business, consulting, research, writing, coaching, and life experience allow us to co-create the focus as I engage in the collaborative process of honing in on the outcome of your objective. Don’t’ worry if you lack clarity, together it will come.
- Write
Words depend upon the audience wanting to read. Knowing how to write is one piece of the puzzle. Knowing people, human nature, behaviors, and circumstances of life situations adds incredible value. This has been a forte for many years. Let it shine!
A word on Economy
Word economy is integral to effective copywriting. People skim and wordiness loses attention. Writing news articles and web content taught the value of economy. A concise message carries impact:
- First words and paragraph either keep or lose audiences.
- One or more quotes add expert-in-the-field touch.
- Economy offers fast-paced and tasty words to influence readers.
- Search engines want keywords economy offers.
- Repetition and economy do work together.
- Repeat to remember
- Relevant keywords
- Search engine optimization
